Ask a Question

We are Themler users and have been for a long time. We've been seeing very poor performance scores for Themler built sites on Google Page Insight scores and after questioning how we can fix this in the Themler forums were directed to Nicepage as more up to date system. Our thread asking about this is here: https://answers.themler.io/questions/200029/themler-no-very-well-coded-for-mobile

How optimsed are nicepage websites for Mobiles when running on Wordpress? Do you have any documentation or information about this we can review? This is a key requirement for us in selecting our Themler replacement.

I cannot confirm Nicepage's better performance. But there are many more topics that do not work with Nicepage in connection with SEO and I have recently been invited back to the Themler. I mentioned this here:

but the support is already very similar to that of the Themler.

greetings

Hi,

Nicepage is indeed more modern and will work better for mobile in case of design. As mentioned above, it is always better to perform your own actions to speed the site, you cannot get the perfect speed result with any theme-generator software. But I suggest you to try any template produced by nicepage to check it on your own and see if it suits your needs.

Site performance scores are more than just template based. HTML needs to be minified, CSS & Jscript combined and compressed, images losslessly compressed, browser cache leveraging needs to be done, etc.

My own site for webdesign site, is built exclusively with themler (because i needed the more flexible module positions etc). Under GTMetrix (which uses google's PageSpeed), it gets a perfect 100% on PageSpeed, and 91% on Yslow.

Site is located in belgium, testing gets done from the UK in Chrome 75. No CDN. Load time is 0.8seconds, total index page size of just over 1MB.

Now, why am i saying this. Because there's more to getting a good site performance than just having a mobile-friendly template/page content
