Hi Support Team,
just a question.

In Site Settings --> GDPR
I can check the option Embed Google Fonts.

If I check it, it seams that when I export the theme it creates a font directory with a lot of .woff files.
What do these woff files, exactly do? what is this option for?

Hi Denis,

These are files with the fonts. According to the GDPR law it is forbidden to use external resources and usual Google fonts are hosted by Google and we only use links to them. In order to follow the law we have added this option to embed the font files into the theme so no external resources are used.

I did the same with updating my websites to make sure the gdpr compliance is correct. I checked the box on the desktop app and exported the theme only and uploaded it to the websites but when I check the fonts are still linked to google directly.
