Ask a Question

Hi Paul,
thanks for response at private support :)
Asked this question at private, but didnt get answer after 3 days, therefore its now at forum

Question is:
Our Designer gets one WL license for being able to create site, but the created site needs the plugin at domain of final client also.
How are handled the licenses and updates at final client site?, because clients use partially different hosting for their domains also and created site including created content needs nicepage plugin to work.

Sincerely,

Mike

Hi Mike,

The white label plug-in cannot be updated automatically. You can only export it once again from the updated desktop version and install it on the client's site. So basically the client gets the site with the editor plug-in and they use this editor further to edit the content.

but with the editor plugin, they still require a nice page account. is this truly whitelabel if they have to sign up to a nice page account before they can update? Or am I missing something? Right now, If I do not log into my nicepage account, I cannot edit a site, do I have to make a client sign up for a nicepage account before they can edit their site content?

Hi,

You register your client in your Nicepage account providing the client license. That should be done before your client accesses the editor. Then the client should open the editor on his site and there will be the registration form, the client should enter the exact same e-mail that you have used and also create a password. That will create an account for the user but they would not need to access Nicepage for that, everything will be done inside the plug-in.
