I've come across a weird bug, and still working on exact steps to re-produce it, but it has happened to me 3 or 4 times in the last week. I'm using the web-plugin/extension of NicePage in a Joomla site, hosted by GoDaddy.
Last night, I added a new article (Our-Clients), and updated the Menu structure so Our Clients appeared in menu, underneath About menu. The About menu is an empty # URL / heading, that contains beneath it, Company, Our Team, Our Clients, and Welcome.
The Welcome article/page IS supposed to be the home-page for the site ( its a slider ).
The Our Clients page was added using the NicePage menu control last night.
I never made a change to/from the Joomla ' All menu items' to change the Home page.
I just edited the menu through NicePage.
The home page should NOT have changed. I published last night and didn't think anything of it.
This morning, the Home Page was changed to Company ( the 1st entry under the About menu ).
To fix it, I had to go into Joomla, All Menu Items, and reset the home page.
Why is editing the menu through your tool changing the home page?
That is very frustrating.
