Cannot link to home page block anchor from another pages menu

HI,
I cannot link to a home page block from different pages (pages 2 onwards) using block anchor in my header menu.
I have tried the following syntax options in the menu link, but none have worked. They work n QUICK PREVIEW and thats about it.

sec-54c7

/home.html#sec-54c7, and
home.html#sec-54c7
www.mywebsite/home.html#sec-54c7

Thanks, at least i know what to use for next time. I got around the problem another way by making a new page instead of a block.
It might have been a caching problem my end. Thanks.

The full link (your last example )should work fine. Please provide a link to the site where it does not work.
