Ask a Question

NivePage can position object either:

  1. custom position within grid cell
  2. relative to other object in grid cell (example: body text container move up/down corresponding to title text length)

Is there any indicator (toggle button) how to see how text object is positioned (custom/relative)

Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no such indicator.

example: body text container move up/down corresponding to title text length

In general, the Text control should move the control below up and down depending on the text length.
If you encounter any problems with the layout please let us know.

I suppose you should add some indicator, as this is really annoying - you never know how object will be positioned (custom/relative).

You are adding a lot of new functionalities (frankly, most of them are cosmetics).
BUT PLEASE think about and reconsider basic objects positioning functionality as this suppose to be the main NicePage advantage. (do not forget about what WebDesign3.0 means!!!)

Has any moves been made since 2020 to add more customization for positioning objects relative to other objects? There are situations where it would greatly help if I was able to determine which object the relative position of my element is anchored to.
