Ask a Question

Hello,

the editor always create an index.html with the same code as in my first start page.
Cause i have to rewrite some code inside my start.html, I always have to do this twice in the index.html.
Is there a way to do an export without the index.html?
Or may a code for the .htaccss to set a specific html file as start page?

Thanks for any hint

Cheers
Markus

Hi Markus,

The index.html page is created automatically as the duplication of your start page as most servers do require the index.html for the initial load. So if you edit one of these files, consider editing the other one as well.

Hi Hella,

so cause it´s by design, there is no problem when I set the wanted start page in the .htaccess with "DirectoryIndex START.html" ?
So I have only to edit the START.html

Cheers

Hi Markus,

You can try to do as you have described and check if that works fine. In any case, we do not recommend to edit the exported files manually.
