Ask a Question

Hello,

I like to load my images from a CDN. For this I have to edit the image src tags from src into ci like:<img ci-src ci-ratio>
When I look into the html code of the website, I cant´find any image tags?!
It seem nicepage creates a placeholder name for all images in the image directory. So house.jpg will be shown as image-5.jpg without a src tag.

How could I see or get the normal code <image src> in nicepage?
Anyway, it would be better for SEO if we could use the speaking name of an image.

Thanks for any hint

Cheers

Hi,

Nicepage creates HTML images when the Image control is used. But when the image is converted to the background image, it is specified in the style sheet file. In this case, there is no HTML image object.

Hello,

I would also like to use images I have stored in a cdn for the images on my nicepage site. However, when I use the add image element tool and paste in the address of the image on the cdn, nicepage seems to create a local copy of the image when the page is exported. Is it possible to use the cdn address as the source, rather than a local copy?

Thanks,
- David

Hi,

There is no such possibility to use the external link, the image will be saved in the theme.
