Ask a Question

I am trying to export an html website to our Qnap NAS for safe storage and for forwarding to our server. Nicepage can browse to the folder and input the path into it's dialogue box but then returns an "invalid path" error as in the attached image. Nicepage has read/write access to the folder.

Can you tell me how to get around this?

Jeff.

Hello Jeff,

As temporary solution you can export site to some folder on your PC and after it copy it manually to your NAS or you can mount your network drive to a folder on your PC. You need to type something like it in Windows command line:
mklink /d "c:\data\websites_upload" "\Qnap\websites_upload\"
You can specify any other folder on your PC, not just c:\data\websites_upload . After that you can set in Nicepage export dialog the new folder. Also you can read more about mounting of a network drive here https://superuser.com/questions/244562/how-do-i-mount-a-network-drive-to-a-folder .
