help needed with Menu on Wordpress using Mobile

I really do not understand menus have attached the project

my site contains two pages Admag and AdVideo
the menu items are blocks on each page..

the issues i have are
1. I am designing for primarily mobile... however i try i cannot seem to be able to position the accordian menu more inward .. it always remains top right and appears almost off my mobile screen ie nearly invisible
2. i tried to inset the items on the page but when i select the menu clicking on the page does not display the items tucked under there
3. if i select the second menu page the page displays ok but if i pick the menu and select the first page the second page is still displayed

Please provide more details about your questions.
Do you mean that you want to see the blocks on the selected page when you create the menu item?

if i select the second menu page the page displays ok but if i pick the menu and select the first page the second page is still displayed

Do you mean that you cannot switch between pages in the quick preview?

Let me clarify..
I expect to be able to select each page and the subset of each page regardless of which page i select

So if I inset the menu items which reference individual blocks on the page say on the Admag and the same on each block on the AdVideo page then in quick preview if i select the menu all that is displayed are both pages … which is correct … but if i click on either page the subitems do not get displayed to select … all i get are the two pages..

ive published onto wordpress and tested and still the same

I now understand the issue...

inset works fine in wordpress...and on nicepage previews using browser … but not quick preview...

please log this with developers

selecting ANY submenu item on second page stays a top of first page

Hi George,

When you create a menu item, you can use either page or block on the current page as the source. You cannot create the item which navigates to the block on the different page. In other words, if you create a link to the block on some page, you cannot navigate to this block from the other page. The link to the block looks like this:

#block_anchor

To navigate this block from the different page, you need the link like:

page.html#block_anchor

You can manually create such a link in Nicepage, but it will not be properly converted to the WordPress menu items to the corresponding pages.

I've checked the attached project, but there are no subitems on the menu. In this case, Nicepage displays dummy subitems to allow submenu configuration. But summy subitems are not working in the preview.

That just does not make sense...
First the menu is part of the header.. that is the same for all pages... it is common to the site
So the menu on page 1 is the same as page 2 etc
Now when i am on page 2 I can build the subitems referencing blocks on page 2
and when i look at the menu in wordpress it seems to have the structure as i designed it

you seem to suggest that the menu and subitems can ONLY reference pages .. and yet you can build menus which reference blocks on the page you are building on...

how do i build a common menu which you can link to any block on any page??

As mentioned in my previous reply, if you need a link to the block on the specific page and you want to navigate this block from any page the link should contain both page name and block anchor:

page.html#block_anchor

Nicepage does not create such links automatically. You can create this link manually:

This link will work in the browser preview and on the HTML website.
But Wordpress page naming is different. Therefore the link will not work after exporting to WordPress. You will need to correct it depending on the WP permalink settings.
