Did you follow installation instructions and install the nicepage plugin and then import the content. Installing the template doesn't automatically add the articles (pages) you added too. You still need to import that content. Pages are seperate from the template settings

Hi!

For what its worth....

Nicepage is a bit different than just a template designer. It can be a bit confusing when developing a Joomla site when you first start out because NP creates both templates and pages. One thing I have found to be make things easier, is to first develop the template - which for me consists of only the header with menu positions, the footer, colors, and the typography. Import that template first.
Then in Joomla, with the NP Plugin , create or edit the home page article. You can do some pretty fantastic things with NP. A good way of thinking of it, is that NP is similar to something like Microsoft Publisher or Powerpoint which lives inside the Joomla article.

You CAN have NP import the content, but it will create a new home page article and menus if you let it. Every time you import content from the plugin, it will create a new home page article named home(1), home(2) etc. So if you are developing in the NP Desktop, and make changes, then keep this in mind when you want to import the content back into Joomla. Personally, I don't like having a ton of homepage articles. I dont know about anyone else, but I NEVER get it perfect the first time, so I may end up with about 1000 versions. ;)

If I decide that I need to Import the content, then In the menus, I then set the home page menu item to the new home page article.
.
NP will also create menus if you want, but I usually already have my menu structure, categories etc already defined, so I dont need NP generating new ones. For me, the menu naming convention is not helpful.

Anyway, thats my .02 cents worth.

Hope that helps...
