is it now possible to put a slide into a grid? I want on the right side of a part of the site a slide and on the left side just text?

No, there is no possibility to add a slider inside another control, the slider can be only in the whole block.

I have used WordPress for managing my websites for years and just started using NicePage. I have use a WordPress plugin (Metaslider) to create the slider and then use under 'Elements' 'Position and Shortcode' to add a shortcode element that I can put anywhere on the page I want and make it whatever size I need. I can then add more to the block.
