Use other jQuery version

Wishlist

Hi,
the integrated version of jQuery is an older version v1.9.1.
I have integrated some jQuery plugins that have a minimum requirement of jQuery v2.4. up.

It is very laborious to replace the jQuery script tag in the page code everytime when saving a new version to webserver.

It would be nicer to define the jQuery version in settings.

Hi Beate,

You can choose to use the jQuery file from the component if you wish so. Open the Customizer options on your site >> Other Settings and there will be a checkbox to use the jQuery from the theme or not.

Hi,

Customizer is a WordPress functionality. Nicepage theme for Joomla provides the same option under the Joomla Extensions.
Unfortunately, Nicepage Desktop does not support disabling jQuery.
