What are the benefits of white labeling under ultimate plan?

Ask a Question

Hello NicePage,

  1. I do see " Customize Nicepage Plugin with your personal branding ", is this the ONLY benefit of 'white labeling' under ultimate plan? Or, are there other benefits too?

  2. Basically I would also like to understand how best I can use white label in my small web designing, copy-writing, photography, hosting & seo business?

  3. May be I can package the plugin with some of my web services when customers may want the ability to design their own website?

  4. Am I allowed to sell the plugin as a standalone product under my branding?

Note: I know I did NOT need to ask some of these questions but, I believe in integrity, this is your plugin which I am planning on using in my business so I want to make sure I comply with your expectations & so I searched but, I did NOT see anywhere a document on white labeling, that is why I have asked you these questions.

It would be good to have a clear " Do's & Don't " instructions on white label, but, if you NicePage have intentionally NOT created while label documentation because it falls under a grey area then just contact me privately and I'll delete my post. Otherwise looking forward to your response.

Thanks,
Sal

Sal,

You get unlimited client licenses, controls, grids, and the biggest size of the paid stock images.

Basically I would also like to understand how best I can use white label in my small web designing, copy-writing, photography, hosting & seo business?

You use the White Label to sell the final websites, not showing to your clients the tool you have used.

May be I can package the plugin with some of my web services when customers may want the ability to design their own website?

Client licenses are only for editing the designed pages. To build websites, an additional license is required.

Am I allowed to sell the plugin as a standalone product under my branding?
No.

Thank you!

Alex,

Are you sure your article is addressing or even coming close to relating to my question?
Do you want perhaps re-check about your answer against my ONLY follow up question?

Hi Sal,

Here is your original question:

Please clarify what is that additional license that is required for me to be able to offer my customers to build their own websites? How do I buy that license?

We do not quite understand what you mean by "build their own websites". But you have Ultimate license, which includes Client licenses. They allow your customers to use a Nicepage editor (CMS plugin only) for content editing.
This article described how to add client licenses:
https://nicepage.com/doc/article/25536/client-licenses

The Capture.JPG you attached displays the Ultimate License linked to your account. As you can see, there is a cell "Client Licenses" where you can add client licenses for your clients.

If you mean something different please let us know.

Hi Olivia,

I understand you are trying your best to address my concerns. Yes, it certainly seems we may need a bit of more explanation on this. So, I'l try my best & here it goes:

MY ORIGINAL QUESTION NUMBER 3:
May be I can package the plugin with some of my web services when customers may want the ability to design their own website?

ELUCIDATION OF MY QUESTION:
I came across a customer who wanted a website, after a brief conversation she (customer) agreed to pay me for the hosting & domain name, she even agreed for me to pay to setup WordPress but, did NOT want to pay for the web design charges,
she asked me if there is a way she could build her own website
(build her own website means 'design' her own website as she pleases),
so,
at this point I reached out to you to ask you if it is 'ok' for me to give my customers the white labeled plugin? So, they could build their own websites with your plugin but that plugin would be under my white label.

QUESTION #5: This is what I meant by "Am I allowed by NicePage to offer my customers the ability to build their own websites since I am a White Label Ultimate Plan Client"? Is this something I could do?

QUESTION $6 : So, I further asked if I could "package" the white label plugin for the customers who may want to build/design their own websites?
As a future reference, because I might come across such customers even in the future so as a business owner when I get a unique situation I try to find a solution for it so my asking you was to confirm that this is something I could do?

(FURTHER EXPLANATION {JUST IN CASE}
a) build means American English for Design
So, if customers are building that means customer is designing their own websites, if I am building then I am designing the website for my customers
b)) domain' name means a "name" on the internet followed by a .com, .net, .biz etc, which is also known as domain 'extension' example www.nicepage.com so here "nicepage" is a domain name and ".com" is an extension of that domain name
c) "hosting" means to keep her website alive on the internet by providing them a space on my leased/rented servers
d) "web design fees" means money that I charge when I build any client's website, I charge by the hour so some clients look for alternatives so I want to be able to offer them an alternative
e) ' i build' means " i myself design" the website in HTML or WordPress, other CMS etc. )

Hopefully, we're clear on what I am asking, again I am asking to be sure that this is something I am allowed to do.

If we're still NOT on the same page, please do NOT hesitate to let me know.
Thanks,
Sal
