Is everything made using absolute positioning? I am just starting to learn website design today and am looking for a designer; however have been informed that using absolute pos is bad practice.

Vote to pay developers attention to this features or issue.

No, we do not use absolute positioning for all the elements, that will cause issues in the responsive modes. You can try Nicepage out and check the code that it outputs.
