Copy and Moove section to another page

Copy style or block also still doesn't work on Joomla on site. I wasted hours to add a similar block to 20+ pages. :-(

Hi all - sorry but after wasting days on trying move pages from one domain to another, and now bumping into this problem re not being able to export a page to import to another site or even another instance of wordpress in another sub directory.

As of now nicepage is not really fit to be considered for a live production environment. It looks great for sure, all the lovely web3 type floating images and all that. BUT when you come to the day to day things like migrating to a different directory, or copying styles etc - you will soon realise you are in for a very long day (or week more likely)

Export / import / copy/paste for pages etc is possible - as I use another visual editor - and it works a dream. But as per - Nicepage does not seem to be able to do it (Im sure there is a good reason fo rthis) but it does not remove the frustration of not being able to do it.

Im now moving back to my existing visual composer editor - and will start to use nicepage again as and when it has this much needed production functionality installed - I cant wait for that to happen as I really like NP and want to be able to use it on all my sites. See you some time in the future nicepage ..

I was waiting a LOOOOONG TIME this feature and 2 days ago, after the Hella's last post, I just TRIED to do it (move a block from one page to another with copy and paste) and IT WORKED!

Copy/paste between pages is the number 1 missing feature for me right now as well.

Hi,

If you are using the desktop application, then you can copy the Block with the form from one page to another.
When using the WP or Joomla, forms are created in the CMS and you can try to call the same form using the shortcode. on another page

Yes, Would also like this. I made a form in one page and would like to have the same form in another page but it seems that I need to build a whole new form... Would be great if I could just use the same.

Or maybe have the possibility to "save" a custom block? Is that something you look into?

I know this issue from Muffin Builder for WordPress. There I can generate a code for blocks or der page and import the code into a differnet page! And I agree Holger - this is a must for a pagebuilder!

What about export and import a block (section) or whole page? This should be realistic?

The plug-in on the site should be started again and again when you run it on another page and that makes a copy and paste between the pages a different task compared to the simple copy/paste within one page.

thanks for your reply - and please don't get me wrong. But you already offer a copy & paste functionality for a block on a given page in you WordPress plugin - why shouldn't this be possible amongst two pages?

We do not have such function in our roadmap and that is also not an easy task when working with the CMS systems. So the possibility to copy blocks between pages and sites is still available in the desktop application only.

this specific functionality is definitely needed in the plugins as well. I can't tell the contributors of a website to "offline" create content and then publish it via import - this is way too inconvinient...

When will you integrate copy & paste funcitonality into the plugins?

Hi Sean,

That is already done some time ago. Just right-click on the section and use the Copy option, then navigate to the desired page, click on any section and use the Paste option. That will insert the section right below that one you have clicked on.
