Ask a Question

Hello out there
Mostly, if I want to update something dirctly in joomla I get this error message. failed to send request (image1)
The second issue in combination with this is that the save button freezes (image 2). If this hapes I have to reload the page, then it tells me that if I leave the page, maybe some changes cannot be saved (image 3). In the end if I reload the page in 90% of the cases everything I changed is done.. The main problem is, that it is a hell of work to update the page online, so I mostly do it offline with new import, but there must be a solution for this issue. I t takes a lot of my time building a site...Maybe you can give me detailed answer where I can change the permissions in Joomla or on the server or in the program. The funny thing about this problem is, that in the nighttime it is working better, than during the daytime. In nighttime I get in ca 60% of all cases the changes properly done with correct saving and everything...
Thank you in advance for your answer
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

The error 504 is a Gateway TimeOut error. It looks like your server overloaded with requests in the daytime, and the webserver does not have time to send requests. Thus, the requests are queued, and then after a certain time, the connection ends. This is not a permissions issue. We suggest that you contact your hosting provider regarding this issue.

I have the same problem and I cannot continue to work on my site after some article updates. I have to wait till the next day.
But that really can't be the case.
I'm really going to consider finding another solution for my website, because Nicepage isn't really great to use in Joomla. It's also incredibly slow.

Hi,

Usually such issues with some failed request message and slow response time is caused by the server limitations. Please contact us in a separate private case with more details about the issue and an access to the site backend.
