Ask a Question

After reviewing your forum and help files on White Label I am puzzled. You offer a White Label product and price point but I am unsure if you have yet delivered on a truly White Label product. We find your product good for knocking up reasonable sites quickly, but as a designer, without True White Label in the HTML version we realise we have to move on to other products available on the market, that do offer a true white label solution.

Maybe this situation has been resolved in recent updates?

If so can you point us to a help file which explains how True White Label works and if not advise if this will be an option in the future?

Many Thanks

Out of interest, why don't you consider their current solution "true" white label?

Hi Hella and Marcus,

As i understand it from the help files, etc, this white label is only for user of Wordpress/Joomla CMS and not the Nicepage HTML Desktop users exporting as HTML. So when we build a design for clients in HTML and they ask to edit it themselves I wanted to know if the CMS you offer is True White Label?

If you see the attached screenshot we were hoping that by using the Ultimate version the (see Desktop-HTML-CMS.jpg!), that the plugin would be a white label plugin which are clients could use. If not then that means our only option is to export as Wordpress and we are specifically trying to avoid WP as it is so clunky and annoying. There are much better CMS than Wordpress, that are more secure and much simpler for our clients to use.

And if you do not yet offer this True White Label (or any work around), will you offer this in the future?

Can you add it to the wish list as this is important for resellers many of who detest Wordpress and want to keep the client CMS simple.

Thanks

Hi Andrew,

The simple HTML export does not have any CMS built-in, that is just HTML and if you need to edit it, then you need to edit the code itself.
We do not plan to create our own CMS for the HTML export.

Hi Hella,

That's a shame, there is a gap in the market for a desktop version of this, with clients required to buy a Nicepage desktop interface so that they can edit the HTML through a simple interface. In the meantime I have an idea of a workround.

Can you advise what the Pros and Cons of this detailed below might be. Many Thanks

  1. Build all client sites in HTML. Then if after launch a client asks to be able to edit themselves consider 2 options.
    a) Convert site to Wordpress and teach them how to use Wordpress or
    b) Get client to buy Nicepage personal version for $49. Is it possible we could sell this version to clients under our own brand?

With both options A) and B) above what are the advantages or disadvantages of these methods, when offered a solution to client at a later stage after launch.

I realise this is a complex question and the answers for a and b are very different but i think Web designers and resellers will eb especially interested in your thoughts and your roadmap WRT to how you view the reseller market and how we might work to offer this solution thru our own client channels, instead of other competing products on the market.

Thanks

Hi Andrew,

Convert site to Wordpress and teach them how to use Wordpress or

This option you can use and then create the white-label plug-in.

Get client to buy Nicepage personal version for $49. Is it possible we could sell this version to clients under our own brand?

This is not possible, we have no options to make the Nicepage desktop application under your branding.
