Hi,

i know that woocommerce is on road map for nicepage but in the mean time would it be possible for me to use a child theme under nicepage (a child theme that i can buy from a theme developper) and customize this theme to match my nicepage colors etc.. How can i install such a theme in my wordpress web site ?

If you dont want to use woocommerce you can use somethng like ecwid
It works like a dream with wordpress and nicepage - I use it as my default option now. Maybe one day nicepage will work with woo - but I gave up waiting. Ecwid works in wp, drupal, joomla and any html site - the best bit is that for ecommerce it's headless and can push products in social platforms etc - it's free - but you pay for addons - like woocommerce does

I made a Wordpress theme for Woocommerce by creating a nice header and footer and adding some pages, a regular theme not a child theme. The functionality takes care of the center content.

thanks for the reply but could you give my some information about using a child theme juste for woocommerce? How does this works? I would need all my pages to work with nicepage and the child theme to work with woocommerce but keeping the same header and footer from my nicepage theme.

Hi Martin,

Unfortunately there is no information about when the E-Commerce themes will be supported, but this feature is in our roadmap. Regarding the child themes, I haven't tested it, but you can try it for sure, I hope that it will work fine.

Ok thanks i'll do that, but do you have some info on when woocommerce in nicepage will be available ? Also can you tell me if i could use Themler has a child theme for the woocomece stuff and how to integrate this with nicepage ? This would be appriciated and when Nicepge is finaly setup to be woocommefce compatible i will swicth.

Hi Martin,

I haven't tested the child theme functionality in WP with Nicepage theme. You can try some free theme on your site to check if that works fine.
