Ask a Question

Hello Nicepace team and happy holidays!!!

I would be interesting to buy the business plan, though i have a question in advance.
I'm working on some new video players up to 8k resolution which can support HTML5 and for the purpose of video galleries your software seems really nice.
My purpose is to use nicepage for offline local HTML5 saved in a sd card and played through the player.
I saw regarding audio there's full customisation in the appearance and the controls, is there the same possibility with the video element?
I mean progress bar customisation?
Also could 4K video content, up tot 4-5 GB size can be supported?
That would be the reason to purchase a license.

Best regards
Andreas Karaoulanis

Hello Andreas,

Thank you for reaching out, and happy holidays to you too!

We appreciate your interest in our Business Plan. Nicepage is indeed suitable for creating offline local HTML5 websites that can be saved on an SD card and played through a video player. Let me address your specific questions:

  1. Video Element Customization:
While Nicepage allows you to add video elements to your pages, the current customization options for the video player (e.g., progress bar, play button design) are more limited. However, use custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to further style or enhance the built-in video player if needed.

  2. Large Video Files (Up to 4-5 GB):
Please note that Nicepage allows you to upload video files up to 10 MB in size. For larger files, we recommend using third-party services like YouTube, Vimeo, or self-hosting the video files on a dedicated server. These services can help you manage and stream large video files efficiently while ensuring compatibility with your video player hardware.

If you have any further technical requirements or would like a trial to test compatibility, feel free to let us know! We’d be glad to assist you with your project.
...................................................
Sincerely,
Ahmad.

hello Ahmad and thank you very much for your answer.
We are using all the content of the HTML local from an sd card to avoid network and buffering delays.
Also in most of the places our players mounted there's limited if not at all network.
So importing large video files into Nicepage, and then export locally into a sd card is not possible, theres's this 10mb limit, or it's not recommended?
Thank you very much!!
Kind regards
