If I set the post image as the background image for a separate section in the post layout, it is not displayed as the background image in the property panel.

Hello Emanuel,

That is correct, block background image will be the same for all post pages, not the different post image as background for each post.

Hello Emanuel,

This behavior is the same for a page. You need to add an image as a background in the property panel or add an image element to the block and extend it as a background.

When you drag the image from another block to extend it as a background - it won't be visible in the property panel.
