Ask a Question

When I try to use nicepage, I get a prompt telling me to drag the folder to my applications folder. When I do this, it just creates a shortcut in my applications folder and when I click on that, it gives me the same initial prompt telling me to drag the program into the applications folder. Help please?

I reloaded the program (I am using Catalina) when I found out that a new Catalina update (2.1.0) was available and downloaded it. I got a prompt change from bin/bash to bin/zsh and performed that successfully. I clicked on the icon on my desktop and a screen came up telling me to drag the the icon to the applications folder and I did that. I clicked on the application and it appeared in the dock; however, nothing loads on to the screen. What am I missing?

First, I clicked on the confirmation email link for download.

Then I chose to mount the the disk image.

Agreed to the terms.

Dragged the file to the applications folder

Found the app and opened it.

Note the when I loaded the application, it appeared on the dock; however, it has no white dot at the bottom of the icon. The program doesn't do anything. It just sits there, and if I close it down, it gives me the force quit prompt.

Harry,

Please make sure that you have closed the Nicepage app, then start Nicepage app from Applications folder.

If you still get this error, please
1) navigate to the folder: ~/Library/Application Support/Nicepage
2) create an empty txt file here: debug.txt
3) start Nicepage App again
4) send us this debug.txt file
