Ask a Question

It seems that adding comments on old posts don't always get replies eg

This post was started in 2019 - hence this new post

Many websites have a home page layout and an "other page" layout + possibly some custom pages.

Good practice would be for all "Other Pages" to use the same css.

When developing several "other pages" with Nicepage I assume most do the same as me.
Create one page that I "think" is perfect, clone it and start on the next one. Both have the same CSS.

However as time goes on, small differences get built into various pages.

If would be good to nominate one page as a master page and all other pages use that CSS. As users edit "other pages" the master page and thus all other pages except the home page are updated as it is only one CSS file that is being updated. A bit like updating a header and footer.

If I was using this feature I would add all possible content to the master page. It might actually be a template page and not a live site page. I could then clone that and remove elements, but all would still share the master/template CSS

Ideally it should be possible to decide for each page do they use the CSS from the master page or do they have their own CSS.

Is anything like this available.

Hello,

Thank you for your input. At this moment such a feature is not supported in Nicepage. But we added your request to our wish list.
