Uploading to Wordpress

When exporting a larger site from the Nicepage desktop app to WordPress, file size limits can sometimes be an issue.

If you can access your server's settings, increasing the PHP limits for post_max_size and upload_max_filesize in your hosting settings can help accommodate larger imports. Furthermore, you may need to contact your hosting provider for assistance.

I've verified PHP limits and they are good. I contacted my hosting provider (bluehost) and they walked me through FTPing the site. I was unsuccessful at using the NicePage app built in ftp tool. The files are there, how do I unpackage them and where do I place them?

I've been working further with my hosting provider and we have found that the index.php file that is exporting with my site is corrupt...what do I do to fix?

Hi Danielle,

I'm not sure that the file itself is corrupted, maybe it was not properly installed. Please let me know are you able to use the direct WP theme upload under Appearance>> Themes >> New >> Upload? Or only your hosting provider is using the FTP upload? This may be causing the issue. Please ask them to increase PHP limits for you so the theme could be uploaded through the default WP interface. It should not be a problem for them.
