Ask a Question

Hello, Can you help and or advise on the below questions? thank you.

  1. CSS and JS files that are hosted can you minify their files? built in so i don’t have to manually redo the HTML, CSS, etc… every time I export. Those files are large.

    CSS Compressor for minify file size
    JavaScript Compressor for minify file size

  2. can’t add Alt text to Icon images (seo)

  3. schema.org type, where change this code ?
“{
 "@context": "http://schema.org",
 "@type": "Organization",
 "name": "BoulderBrook",
 "url": "https://boulderbrook.com/index.html",
 "logo": "images/boulderbrook_logo_wht.png”,”

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

1) Unfortunately, it is impossible to minify CSS and JS files after the export. We will add this feature to our wishlist. If you export your site to HTML, you can edit site files after exporting, but we do not recommend doing it if you are not a specialist as it can affect the website performance.

2) SEO Alt can be added only to images, but we hope this feature will be added for icons as well.

3) Unfortunately, there is no option to create or edit a schema markup for a site directly on Nicepage. We can only suggest generating a schema markup with a third-party service (for example, https://www.google.com/webmasters/markup-helper/u/0/) and entering a code under Site Settings ==> HTML ==> Additional Head HTML.

Let us know if you need our further help!

a follow up the image SEO alt tags. not all images allow SEO alt text. if the image is in a carousel or in a table or slider. can you add this to the future update list. thanks

Also another cool feature would be when I export site to FTP/local that only edited pages get loaded, so my manual code doesn't get over written. and or images in image folder. a export resize/compression would be cool. I had to do this manually after i built site and every time i need to load image separate. Or a way for me to replace the images in nicepage all at once if the file names are the same with smaller images. I the future I will optimize my images before I load into nicepage.

Thanks of all your help.
