When I had the problem I called GoDaddy support. The gentleman I talked to didn't see anything in the error logs but he did up the execution time and memory limit. He said these will take a while to change. He suggested that I deactivate all other plugins except Nicepage which I did and it didn't make a difference. He also said that there may be a php extension that needs to be turned on. I'm attaching a word doc with my php settings. He also asked if there was a way to test admin-ajax.php to see if it was working correctly. None of that helped. Nicepage asked me to ask GoDaddy if ModSecurity Apache module was installed and to ask them to deactivate it.
Here's more info I got from GoDaddy - Called GoDaddy & got my call passed up to an engineer who was willing to dig into the problem. ModSecurity is on but since I'm using shared hosting there's no way to turn it off. However, I gave him my IP address and he checked the modsec logs to see if a request from my ip address triggered the error in modsec. It took a while but he found that it did. He and another engineer found that there is a request being made in the directory fckeditor for a file that ends in .asp instead of .php. Hope this helps.
Also, I checked the 5 other sites I've designed using Nicepage and got mixed results as to whether they worked or not. The problem is with both html & shortcode elements. Plus on some sites if I go into theme settings I get a similar error message. On this one I changed the hyperlink to bold then saved- https://prnt.sc/q5slh8. On some of my 5 sites it wont save HTML/Shortcode elements. On some sites it will save if I put it on a page created before this problem started but not on a new page. On one site it works on old or new pages but doesn't work for saving theme settings.
I reported that back to Nicepage and they finally fixed it. The ID on my question was 52008 - they should be able to look that up for you to see if it's the same problem.
