Ask a Question

Good day,

I have installed E-docman component our Joomla site, then used shortcode to display it on nicepage article, but when i open the links for the categories that i created inside the component, the link redirects to a different template. I would like to ask for assistance then when the links are clicked it still redirects to the same template (Screenshot1), i will provide screenshots for further clarity.

Screenshot 1 - will be the main page with the links 2024,2022,etc, when clicked on it opens up in another template which is Screenshot 2.

Screenshot3 is the footer of the screenshot2 template, can you also asisst in removing the footer as well within joomla settings. Thank you.

Hello Hofney,

We can see that you have different theme styles, it means that your default theme style is different from your Nicepage plugin theme settings.
You can change your Nicepage page template configuration now for your Nicepage pages to Theme header and footer, see attached.
Or you can upload new Nicepage theme to be the same as you have with your plugin editor, set it as default and all your Joomla articles will use it.

Anna.

Hi Hofney,

The header that you have created inside the plug-in on your site can be applied only to Nicepage articles. If you wish to have the same header across the whole site you need to design the desired header in your Theme. Theme can be edited only in the application. So please open the desktop application where you have created the initial theme, edit the header to look as your site header, export the Theme only (do not include pages and plug-in) and install it on the site. Then all the site pages will be using the same header.

Hi Hofney,

There is no way to export the theme from the plug-in. But you can actually recreate it in the application. You may try to export the Header and Footer blocks and import them in the application. You do not need to recreate the content, only the theme. Please try it out and let me know if it works fine.
