Ask a Question

It's hard to understand how this will work, anyone has got a good explanation or tutorial that i can rely
on?

I need the message sent by contact form to a certain email in an html exported site
to be answered by this certain email - preferably automatic, if possible at all.

Everytime i want to answer a message the receiver-mail is nicepage.

Nina,

If you are using Email as submit option and Nicepage hosting you will receive the incoming form submission from one default sender noreply@nicepage.io
If you use the submit option Send email with PHP script you can configure the form handling settings to set the "Reply-To" email address using the form field value to have the form submissions appear to come from the email address entered by the user in the form. To send an automatic reply, you will need to modify the PHP script to include an additional mail() function call. Ensure your hosting environment supports server-side scripting and allows sending emails. Many shared hosting providers support PHP, but you might need to check with your host if you’re using another language.

NicePage does not support setting the "Reply-To" email address directly.
Please consider using third-party form services or custom scripting.

Sincerely,
Anna.

Hello Nina,

There is an option to send email with PHP script.

send-email-php.png

If you host your site with Nicepage it will not work as this submit option is for external hosting.

Hello Nina,

Online builder is used to publish sites to Nicepage hosting and this submit option is not available.
As we have said previously, NicePage does not support setting the "Reply-To" email address directly.
Please consider using third-party form services or custom scripting.

I exported the site in HTML and uploaded it directly to my provider - So you are saying this is also not possible?
This is actually pretty silly and useless then to be honest. Actually this means it ist not possible to built a professional webiste with nicepage.

Hello Nina,

You can add this option with your custom script, Nicepage built-in script for sending email with PHP has no such option.
