Footer Changing Colours Not Showing

Hello Alexander,

You can create the Nicepage Theme and Nicepage Content in the Desktop app.
The Nicepage Theme includes a header, footer, Blog and Post templates, and other Theme settings. Please customize all Theme elements under the Site Colors and Fonts and Templates tabs in the Desktop app.
The Nicepage Content is a static HTML Pages created in the Desktop app.
After that, you can export the Theme with/without Content and install it on your WP site:
* https://nicepage.com/doc/66707/installation-of-wordpress-theme-and-pages Theme with Content;
* https://nicepage.com/doc/67768/export-and-update-of-wp-theme-from-app Theme only;
* https://nicepage.com/doc/67690/export-and-update-of-wp-content-from-app Content only.
In WP, you can continue Content editing with the Nicepage plugin Editor. So Nicepage Theme can be created in the Desktop app only.

In Wordpres, you have your site's theme style settings and plugin theme settings. They can be different. To apply different theme styles for your Nicepage pages you need to change page template configuration.
Post and Blog pages use your active theme style, a new theme that you have imported.

For example, if you added any theme style changes in the Nicepage plugin Editor in WP, then these changes will only show up on Nicepage Pages (if they use the Nicepage header and footer template).
If you want to have the same header and footer on all Pages in WP (including native WP Pages), please select the Theme header and footer or Theme template for Nicepage Pages.

This is a very comprehensive answer and I thank you for it, but I just seem to be having extreme difficulty getting my head around it all Anna. I guess it should be simple. Sometimes I feel I am making progress and then other times, I feel like I am taking two steps forwards and three steps back. I will go through what you have written here and see if I can make the changes I need to in order to make it work.

The thing is on the desktop app the links are chaging colour the way I want them, and I did export the theme, but live site it does not work. The top links are the way I want them, for some reason I cannot seem to get the footer links to work the way I want them to

I really appreciate how patient you have been with me Anna, from my perspective it has been a very frustrating journey so far.

Hi Anna, I was able to get my footer the way I wanted it simply by going to page settings like you say. I had not realised that they were different. You may well have told me that before but the penny certainly did not drop
