Ask a Question

Hi, it's a shame the parallax option doesn't work on smaller devices with nicepage :/ I noticed quite a lot of users are asking for this and support have put it on a wishlist over the years but it seems to not be happening. Is there an alternative workaround to this effect using nicepage? a trick? I've seen some great mobile sites with parallax effects and they work very well. A few other web builders offer this effect such as showit, squarespace and divi. Obviously coders can implement this quite easily and in differing ways so just wondering if someone has any creative ideas here on nicepage.. I'd just simply like one medium width picture under my menu in the header to not scroll on smaller devices. Is it possible? Also, is it possible to have the menu stay on the screen as you scroll down on mobile devices? Many thanks in advance :)

Hello Steven,

Thanks for contacting us!

Please note, that we turned off the parallax effect in mobile devices because the performance on these devices is limited.
We added your request to our wishlist. But at this moment we can't say whether this option will be implemented or not and when.
Please note that you can add custom CSS code for this in the Site Settings.
See the attached documentation, it may be useful for you.

Regarding your second question, we don't have the ability to do that yet, but we will add your request to our wish list regarding scrolling menus. We currently have a "Sticky on Scroll" option available.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Sincerely,
George.

Hi George, thanks for the info. I'd like to give this a shot and see what happens. I'm a little unsure where to put the code - in a block? or a header block? I already have a header menu with home about etc and some animated text just under that as a block. Can you please explain what I need to do to add this code under the menu and text block? I did the sticky function on the menu as you suggested and that does the trick I was looking for! Thank you, regards Steven
