I've added the blog block to my page which includes article content. I only want it to show the content above the read-more line from the Joomla article, but it includes the whole article. Is there a way to only show the intro text? Thanks

Hello Chris,

Category Blog menu item uses your theme blog template to output your articles for the defined category.
Blog posts element will output the articles automatically in such a way:
- for the article made in Nicepage, the first block is displayed, maybe rebuild the page;
- for a native Joomla article, the intro text is displayed before the read more tag, which can be set at any place in the Joomla editor. Other settings as Intro text should be managed only in Joomla, with Joomla Article edit - https://docs.joomla.org/Splitting_an_Article_into_an_introduction_with_a_link_to_read_more the Nicepage blog posts element will output your Joomla article settings.
Blog posts added to a Nicepage page can output only Joomla native articles.
You can try to modify the intro text characters quantity in Joomla settings and check if that will be applied with the Blog posts element.

Anna.
