Ask a Question

I have 2 issues with y Live site which i cannot find an answer to.

  1. The loaded canonical page addresses are not pulling through to live site, despite the setting being selected
  2. The .html on the address still shows despite the selection to exclude it being turned on.

Live Site link shows: https://iclrezolve.ca/Business-Services.html
Loaded link in Backend using canonical is: /business/services

Its like this on all the site pages.

Any idea how to force canonical and leave off .html??

Hello Clinton,

Thanks for contacting us!

Try to do the following: go to Page Settings ==> SEO ==> Advanced Settings, and set a canonical link for a page.
Set a canonical link for every page.
In this field, you just need to put the URL of your page. For example, the Contact page of your site should have this canonical link: yoursite.com/contact.

Unfortunately, currently, The "Create Links Without . HTML" option only works for websites hosted on Nicepage's own hosting service.

If you have any more questions or need any further assistance, feel free to ask!

Sincerely,
George.
