Report a bug

Good day

I am experiencing difficulties installing a Wordpress theme I have compiled on Nicepage. I upload the Zip file and then get an error message. I have tried numerous times without success. Could you kindly provide advice?

Screenshot of error attached as well as link to project file located in Google Docs.

I laso have a problem with the footer and header. I have installed the template without the content which worked but now the header and footer does not correspond to the design of the project file. You can have a look on the domain name itself then you will see that there is no text in the footer section as I designed it in the project file.

Hope you can assist with this.

Hi,

The provided project archive is quite big. Usually, the project size causes problems if there are low limits on file size specified on the server (in php.ini file):
upload_max_filesize
post_max_size

They should match the size of the uploaded file.
I also suggest that you try increasing max_execution_time just in case.

Please keep us posted about the progress.

Good day

Thank you. I managed to upload the site and activate. I however have difficulties with the footer. If you look at the footer in the project file you will see that it is not correspinding to the footer cirrently displaying in the domain when you load it. I also notice that when trying to edit the footer in the Wordpress dashboard it
actually deleted the page. I now have to re-install the project file. So any suggestions on solving the footer?

Hi,

I assume that you are talking about the https://www.peterjansenvanrensburg.co.za/ site as you haven't provided the URL to the site.
Also the attached zip file does not include the Project file that we could open inside Nicepage to see the footer you have created and compare it to the one that you have on the site.
But according to the code in the template I can guess that your footer had the Position controls with the content. That content won't appear on the site, you need to add the desired modules in those Positions that you have created in Nicepage.

I also notice that when trying to edit the footer in the Wordpress dashboard it
actually deleted the page.

Provide more details about this issue. If it is reproducible, then provide an access to the site backend and the detailed instruction on how to reproduce it.
