I paid to be to have an email account, which was probably a waste of money. However, there is literally no place where it tells me how to set up this account. I need this asap

As I understand, you mean a Client License, don't you? If yes, there are two ways of adding a client license: email and domain. Please read about it here: https://nicepage.com/doc/25536/client-licenses
