Dear NicePage Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. Over the past several years, I've noticed multiple requests from users for enhanced image handling capabilities on your platform. As such, I am writing to inquire about the possibility of integrating a responsive image feature, specifically through the use of the srcset attribute, within the NicePage platform.
As someone dedicated to optimising website performance and SEO, I find that responsive image handling is crucial, particularly for improving load times on mobile devices and enhancing user experience across different screen resolutions. Although NicePage currently resizes images based on the viewport, this method still results in downloading larger-than-necessary images on devices with smaller screens.
Implementing the srcset attribute would allow us to specify multiple image sources for different screen sizes, ensuring that browsers only download the most appropriately sized image based on the device's screen size and resolution. This method is not only beneficial for page speed and bandwidth usage but is also crucial for adhering to mobile-first indexing and enhancing SEO.
Given that NicePage already knows the precise image sizes required at each breakpoint, integrating srcset could be streamlined. For example, if the system knows an image needs to be 200x200 at a certain breakpoint, it could automatically generate an optimised image like seo-optimised-file-name-200x200.webp.
Could you please let me know if there are any plans to integrate this feature? The addition of srcset would be incredibly beneficial for all NicePage users, especially those focusing on optimising mobile-first websites.
Thank you for considering this enhancement. I look forward to your positive response.
