File Explorer launch after every save

What can be done about File Explorer being launched every time I save a file? I have no use for it and it pops up over my full screen project. It may go 'away' after clicking in the project but when I'm done there are several instances of it I have to kill.

If it is going to remain a fixture, at least check to see if the application is running and exit rather than creating another copy each time. Otherwise I don't see a need for it in the first place. It isn't like I am going to use it. I'm not going to upload it until I am actually ready to upload it.

Perhaps an option could be made in preferences to choose between using it, or not. I assume someone asked for the functionality and it is nice it made it into the code, but it is enormously annoying to me to take the steps to kill it and return back to the design,

Hi Doug,

Unfortunately, this feature cannot be disabled. But the explorer window should be opened in the background and not cover the active window.
But we added your request to our wish list.

Using Wine, it appears over the primary window each time, and opens multiple copies as each project is saved and they remain open after closing the app since they were opened as a separate process.

Again, the launching process should check for running process so it will not open additional windows.

Adding an option to disable this should be added like the autosave option that now can be toggled on and off. I save often as both a project file and site file and increment the versioning number and name of the file several times during a session. That is why I find it so annoying.

It is normal that I may save up to 5 revisions of both files in an hour, so I am seeing 10 windows opened in that hour, each taking a slice of CPU time and memory and battery.
