Ask a Question

After changing the folder for saving the page, it will no longer be displayed. Can I reactivate a restored directory so that the website is available in Nicepage again?

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out to us

You can change your Project's folder in the Nicepage >> profile icon >> Preferences and your website will be shown again on the dashboard.

Furthermore, do not forget about the Backup folder

It's not about changing a directory. After a new installation, for example, the existing pages in an existing directory are displayed again as a project with existing content. No backup, just existing directory with created page.

What behavior do you expect?

I'm sorry, but it's not clear what issue you are experiencing. Would it be possible to provide screenshots or screen recording videos?

Thank you.

Sorry for my not so good English. Example. My laptop's hard drive dies and I can no longer start Nicepage. I did not make a backup of the homepage created with Nicepage. I have the directory of the data stored by Nicepage for the homepage such as HTML, images, etc. from a pure directory backup copy. After reinstalling Nicepage, how do I get the existing data back as a project for editing in Nicepage. Hope that explains it better. Thanks.

Hi,

Do you mean that you have a copy of the Nicepage folder with the projects? Where you have folders that Nicepage used to save your work to? In this case you need to set the pass to this directory as the Pojects Folder in the Preferences window in your application.
If you mean the exported HTML themes without included projects, then you cannot restore projects from them.
