Not able to import project

What I tried -
a) I exported my project
b) extracted zip file to local directory
c) then added a script tag with some js code in an existing file in the project
d) zipped project directory , without changing any directory structure
e) tried importing the zip folder as a new project

Error -
invalid nicepage project file

Am I not allowed to add script code within an existing html ?

Hello Akshath,

Not, you are not. We do not recommend modifying the project outside the Niceapge Application. For extra code please use the HTML and PHP Elements.
