Updating Wordpress theme on live site while old site was created on Nicepage online builder

I recently created a site using the Online Builder. That site was then taken live via Bluehost on Wordpress Nicepage plugin. I have made several updates to the site since it has been on Wordpress. I found instructions for updating the theme when using the app but not for the online builder. What are the steps when using the online builder. Will my site updates I made on Wordpress be erased?

Hi Devon,

The instructions are the same for the online builder. Basically, you need to separate the theme and content. Theme is a design of the header, footer, templates. It cannot be edited in the plug-in on the site. The content is all your pages and posts created with Nicepage, they can be edited and created within the plug-in. So when you need to update the theme, you need to open the desktop application or online editor where you have your project and export the Theme only. Do not include content and plug-in in the export as they were edited on the site. Then import the theme and it won't rewrite your site content.
