Report a bug

Today, I attempted to run NicePage desktop application, and immediately, the error appeared. Therefore, I have tried to restart the computer, and tried it again - same error was shown. I have tried to uninstall the application, and then install it iagain. Still, the same error was shown. I have already upgraded my license plan, so I would like to ask you, for some hint, how to resolve the situation.

About the error displayed (cannot found the Documents folder within my user profile), I have also recognized this morning, that mine OneDrive from Office365 now told me, that instead of 1TB storage, I have only 5GBs, and my access to OneDrive will be soon disabled. So I have moved all my system Libraries aside of the OneDrive folder on my system drive. I believe, this has an impact to the error statement. I just moved all libraries from subfolder OneDrive again back to C:\users\micha\ like they were previously. Also OneDrive application is not running and my user account was removed. Perhaps this is the cause of the error.

Thanks for your help,
Michal

Hmm, I do have an interesting findings:
MS OneDrive redirected Documents folder, in which were stored previously in NicePage made items and sites. So I have created new folder in OneDrive\Documents\NicePage and then it started smoothly.
But user's Documents folder cannot be simply pointed back to Documents above OneDrive folder (there appears an error stating, that it cannot be done, because there already exists an object with redirection, that cannot be changed).
I am going to seek for some other way to direct Documents folder to the place, where it was before OneDrive was configured.
I will grab someone from MS on Monday. Thanks and have a nice weekend.

Fine, I have found where and modified the registry key for libraries. The problem is resolved.
Here is the link, should someone also get into such trouble:
https://superuser.com/questions/1205668/how-to-unlink-my-documents-folder-from-my-onedrive-account

It might be perhaps good idea, for new versions of NP, to store code or scripts required for running the application in user's Library folders, that are NOT the target of redirection, like in case of OneDrive.

E.g. in "%localappdata%" which is settled in "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local".
For example c:\users\micha\AppData\Local
