Hello,

We have a website ready to go through Nicepage and would like to shut down our old website at another location. Our nonprofit owns the domain name nccraftsmanship.org and we want to use that with the new webpage on Nicepage. What steps do we need to take to use that custom domain with our Nicepage made website? The other service is ready to shut down the old webpage.

If you want to use your custom domain name for another website.

  1. Go to My Sites
  2. Find your website and Unpublish it
  3. Open your website in the Nicepage app, go to the Site Settings, and unbound the domain name.

I have read that before and the site where we have the domain does not have any of that information or settings. Not sure what to do.

  1. Go to [My Sites][1]
  2. Find your website and Unpublish it
  3. Open your website in the Nicepage app, go to the Site Settings, and unbound the domain name.

I want to make sure I do this correctly. So, I need to shut down the old website first at the other service we are using, then follow your instructions?
You have said to use the Nicepage app. Are you talking about the website or a separate app I need on my phone?

Robert,

As you explained earlier, you want to reassign your custom domain name - nccraftsmanship.org, to another website.
You are currently using the domain name nccraftsmanship.org for another website and have published it from the Nicepage Desktop app.

You can do everything from the Nicepage Desktop app

Go to the Site Settings >> Unpublish the website >> Unbound the domain name by removing it from the My domain field
