Hello Mike,

If you've accidentally deleted the nicepage.exe file and are experiencing issues reinstalling the program, you must perform a clean reinstall. Ensure to keep in a safe place your Nicepage Project's folder from the ...\Documents\Nicepage
Here are the steps you can follow to reinstall the Nicepage Desktop app:

  1. Uninstall Nicepage:

  2. Delete Remaining Files:

    • Check the C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86) directory for any Nicepage-related folders and delete them.
  3. Registry Cleanup (Advanced):

    • Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
    • Type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
    • Be cautious while dealing with the registry. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE. Look for Nicepage folders and delete them.
  4. Restart Your Computer:

Thank you for providing additional information Mike,

If you have identified that your antivirus software, SentinelOne, is causing issues with the installation of Nicepage, here are a few steps you can take:

Antivirus Settings:
Check the settings of SentinelOne to see if it has any features related to blocking installations. You might find an option to disable or whitelist certain applications temporarily.

Whitelisting Nicepage:
If possible, add Nicepage to the list of trusted applications or create an exception for Nicepage in the antivirus settings.

Temporary Disabling:
Temporarily disable SentinelOne while you install Nicepage. Be cautious when doing this, and ensure you only briefly disable it to complete the installation.

Contact SentinelOne Support:
Reach out to SentinelOne's support for assistance. They might provide specific guidance on handling the situation or offer solutions to make Nicepage compatible.

Alternative Antivirus:
Consider temporarily using an alternative antivirus solution during the Nicepage installation as a workaround. Once Nicepage is installed successfully, you can revert to using SentinelOne.

Always prioritize the security of your system, and if you are uncertain about any actions related to antivirus settings, consult with SentinelOne support or your IT department for guidance. If the issue persists, feel free to contact Nicepage support for further assistance.
