Terrible Support

Ask a Question

Nicepage is a great builder when it works, but if something goes wrong support is substandard. I have been trying to get support for a white screen of death issue from Nicepage support for nearly a week on an important money site but received an acknowledgment, but no help.

I have tried posting privately and publicly about the issue and still have no resolution! Not even a response to my support requests in over 2 days. I guess I have no choice but to recreate my website in another builder.

I have been a paying customer for over 2 years and for the first time I needed assistance and I'm getting garbage for support. If this is the support level with these products, then I will not be renewing my subscription to Nicepage I will be sure to post about my experience on social media and to my email audience of over 150K subscribers.

Hi Steve,

We're very sorry that you encountered difficulties using Nicepage!

We answered with a delay (the investigation took some time) in the private topic since we asked for the project that the issue occurred due to the incorrect custom code you added in the Editor.

You need to add the missing tag and re-upload the site.

Please follow the instructions in your other case and let us know if you need further assistance.

Sincerely,
Susanna I.

I appreciate support eventually finding the issue and resolution but the response was very slow and I was not even aware it was being perused. Simple updates to notify customers that the support tech is actively working on the issue would be nice rather than several days going by with no communication.

This is a very important website to me and my team. It's our business website and is responsible for our livelihood. What made this even more of a vexing issue was the Quick Preview in Nicepage rendered the pages just fine and gave no indication of a problem.

I love Nicepage and think it's a great page builder. Probably one of if not the best in the industry. I have recommended it to many others who follow me.

As a suggestion, code logic into the app to detect things like improper syntax when entering code. That would have saved everyone's time. The HTML dialog should check code syntax and notify the user immediately of the syntax error and not allow the code to be saved. Hopefully you guys will use this incident as a learning experience and add that to your roadmap going forward. Also, improved response times to support requests would be great too.

Thank you for helping us to resolve the issue.
