Ask a Question

1.) Can I create folders so I have some structure? I have hundreds of photos and I am scrolling forever to find what I need.
2.) It seems that when I click to add an image it is selecting images from my entire site, not just the Nicepage-images folder. Why is this? how can I stop that?

Hi Ian,

  1. Unfortunately thre is no possibility to manage images and organize them with the folders.
  2. In Joomla the images you have in the Joomla media library also appear in the editor so it is convenient to use the media that you already have on the site. There is no possibility to exclude them from the editor.

Please add this to a future update. How can someone manage hundreds of photos?

Please allow folder structure and make it only available to a certain root folder with subfolders. This really makes things a challenge now for us and I may have to research another product.

I dont understand, because it is impossible to easily find an image to insert in an article. You can't even sort by dates and I don't know how they are sorted either. When you have more than 300 images on a site, it's a disaster.

You should be able to search like with the media explorer, by folder and files (which most of your competitors do). I guess it's not that complicated to develop this point?

Thank you for listening to this issue

Hi,

As we have said before, the option is added to our wishlist, that does not mean that we are working on implementing it. We had not so many requests for this feature, but we will consider your requests.

Hi,

Sorry, but the attached video is not loading. If the issue is in the images window showing only 20 images and no scroll, then this issue is known and will be fixed in the upcoming updates. As a meanwhile solution you can try to minimize the application window to get it smaller than the Images window and then the scroll bar should appear in the Images window and you should be able to see all your other images.

I agree. It would be so helpful. I mean the search is working much better but folders would be outstanding.

Thanks.
