Ask a Question

How do I ASSIGN a category to an actual blog POST? I wanted to create different blog pages based off categories such as:
Inspirational, Home & Decor, Recipes, etc. But I can't find in your documentation where to actually assign an actual Blog POST what type of category I want to assign.....such as:

I write a blog about a recipe and when creating the Post there is no field to add or see that is identified as a "category" how do I assign it.

I found where you can assign Product Categories, but we will not have products, please advise.

Nicepage is a tool used to create the THEME for a website. The website can be standard HTML, or you can create a THEME for a content management system (CMS) such as WordPress or Joomla.

Although you can create BLOG posts and export them as part of your Nicepage export (this is the option to INCLUDE CONTENT), the assignment of a CATEGORY to a blog post is controlled through the CMS system, not Nicepage.

So, you need to assign the category from within the POST section of WordPress, or the ARTICLE section of Joomla.

Hello Susanne,

Correctly notice from our trusted user, posts can be assigned to a category using CMS tools. With Nicepage you can create posts for further import into CMS.
Let us know in case you have any other questions.
