Ask a Question

I don't like the icon element, I did the entire layout in the Joomla4 plugin, the page saved and works, but when I want to modify something through phpmyadmin it's not possible because the length of the link field is absurdly long. I'm going to put 1 field just to show, even when measuring page speed in pagespeed it is lowered for such a long length.

How to change the social media icon to an image, and not end up with that giant long link?

<img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAA.....

Hello,

We do not recommend changing the code in phpmyadmin. You can choose another icon or upload new, please see the screenshot attached.

hello

If you click on icons like the image you attached, will it be an image instead of the code? I can't understand what the difference is when selecting on nicepage

Hello,

We checked now and icons are added as SVG versions by code, not image, here is the screenshot showing this.

Screenshot-2.png

in your situation is an added image and the image has a very big src, do you know that Joomla does not change image locations or the source of the image? do you know that nothing affects the src?

Please attach a short video demonstrating your issue with the whole process, please show to us everything step-by-step. In the video, try adding the Icon newly and show how you trying to add the icon.

We will try our best to help you.

hello

I need to edit the source code of the entire page created by the nicepage plugin in Joomla 4.

I'm creating pages in the nicepage plugin for Joomla, so I can then add, modify and replace without having to edit again through the nicepage plugin in Joomla.

How to edit the code without having to use phpmyadmin?

thank you very much

Hi,

The Social Icons added with the Nicepage are always added as the SVG elements, there is no way to change them to images. If you want to have images instead of svg elements you can consider using your own code for the whole social icons element with your images. Add that code into the HTML element and place it where you want them to appear.
Note, we do not support custom code modifications and do not recommend to edit the code manually. In any case please consider making a backup before any changes.
