Hello Mick,

Thanks for reaching out to us

It seems like you're encountering an issue with Microsoft Edge and MalwareBytes affecting the display of images on your website. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

  1. Check MalwareBytes Logs:
Review the logs in MalwareBytes to get more details about the blocked URL. It might explain why it's blocking certain elements on your website.

  2. Whitelist Your Website:
If MalwareBytes is blocking your website due to a false positive, consider adding your website to the exclusion or whitelist in MalwareBytes. This can prevent the security software from blocking the content.

  3. Browser Console:
Open the Developer Tools in Microsoft Edge (press F12 or right-click on the page and select "Inspect") and go to the "Console" tab. Check if there are any error messages related to the images not loading. This might provide additional insights into the issue.

  4. Mixed Content Issues:
Ensure that all the resources (including images) on your website are loaded using HTTPS, especially if your website is hosted on a secure server. Mixed content (HTTP and HTTPS) can sometimes lead to issues with certain browsers.

  5. Browser Compatibility:
Test your website on different browsers to see if the issue persists across all of them. This can help identify whether the problem is specific to Microsoft Edge.

  6. Clear Browser Cache:
Clear the cache and cookies in Microsoft Edge to ensure that you're not experiencing issues due to cached data.

  7. Update Browser:
Ensure that you are using the latest version of Microsoft Edge. Sometimes, updating the browser can resolve compatibility issues.

  8. Host Server Configuration:
Since you mentioned that the issue doesn't occur when using a different hosting service, there might be server-related configurations affecting the display. Check server logs and configurations for any anomalies.

  9. Contact Support:
If the issue persists, contact Microsoft Edge or MalwareBytes support for further assistance. They might provide specific guidance based on the details of the error.

Remember to back up your website before making any significant changes, and proceed with caution when adjusting security settings. If you're not comfortable making these changes yourself, consider seeking the assistance of a web developer or IT professional.

Sincerely,
Ahmad.
