What is the different between transparent and color white ?

The page you see in the browser and in the Nicepage editor consists of layers: Box lying on top of the Block which is lying on top of the Nicepage page. When each element has a transparent background you see the browser window which has a white background by default. You cannot see nothing. If you want to see some image or color behind the Block (Page background) you should add this background under the Page tab on the right-side panel.

To create an effect as on the provided website you need to create a few empty or not empty Blocks with the block background images and enable the Parallax option.
