I've done my homework: First a backup and restore my website before doing anything.
In tghe process of on-going updates I encountered the following problem: After updating Joomla 4.4.0 to 4.4.1 and in this slipstream NicePage 5.21.10 to 6.0.8 the website says: 404 error - page not found - #0 Call to undefined method Joomla\CMS\HTML\Registry::loadString()
I've restored my website and everithing works well again. On a different website I've restored the backup and started looking for answers. The point being: I own different websites and I update these sites (and NicePage) as the Joomla updates are announced.
2 out of 4 websites: no problem, the other 2 have this 404 problem.
This is what I've tried:
Joomla 4.4.0
- update NicePage from 5.21.10 to 6.0.5 Automatic
-update NicePage 5.21.10 to 6.0.5 manually
- update all other modules before updating NicePage 5.21.10 to 6.0.5 manually
- same automatic
- first update Joomla 4.4.0 to 4.4.1 and then the same sequence (automatic: 6.0.8, manual 6.0.5)
So, after 8 different ways of updating NicePage I'm asking for some help. What can I do? Is there something wrong in the menu? I've checked but all articles are present and no changes have been made to the menu structure.
