Ask a Question

Totally new to Nicepage. I do have Wordpress and older HTML sites. Can't seem to find explanations of whether I should start with the Windows download version, the online version, or the WP plugin? My initial intention is to use Nicepage for landing/sales pages.I do have the paid version. If someone could direct me to any help in this area - or who could make suggestions, I would appreciate it.

Hi, Dana,

Thanks for being our customer!

Could you please clarify on which hosting you are going to publish a site? We allow publishing sites on Nicepage Hosting and external hosting services. In the first case, you should use Nicepage Desktop and Online. If you want to have a site on your hosting, there are a few options for it:
1) HTML export. This option is needed when you want to publish a static HTML website. After the HTML export, you should upload all site files to your hosting manually or via FTP.
2) WordPress and Joomla export. You need this option when you have installed WordPress or Joomla on your hosting. Nicepage allows exporting themes and pages to existing CMS websites. With the help of the Nicepage plugin for CMS, you can edit existing Nicepage pages and create new ones directly in your CMS admin panel.

You can get all the necessary info in our documentation: https://nicepage.com/doc

Let us know if you need our further help!

Paul C.

Thanks for clarifying, Paul. I sort of understood the various options - just couldn't find an explanation of which to use when; if one is easier or more flexible over the other(s); or if it even makes any difference. I do have a WordPress site and for now simply need to build a sales page. So I'm thinking installing the plugin may be the best case. I have begun watching your excellent tutorials and will continue. Appreciate your help.
